China's first jewellery service specification standard implemented in Tianjin

According to the Tianjin Quality Supervision Bureau, the "Tianjin Jewelry Street Service Specification" (hereinafter referred to as "the Code") has been formally implemented. This is also China's first service standard for the jewelry industry.

It is understood that the “Specification” not only clearly stipulates the general aspects of ensuring the quality of jewellery stores, the smoothness of walkways, bright lighting, and the non-commodity nature of goods placed on shelves, but also how the merchandise is displayed and what effects are achieved. Hard rules. For example, merchants should display products with the same purpose, related or similar products in order to highlight the momentum of the merchandise group; classify the same goods according to different specifications and quantities, so as to achieve a clear hierarchy of goods and create a sense of “quantity”; counters In addition to the display of Chinese jewellery, jewelry that is extremely expensive is to be displayed on its own, and regular jewellery should be placed in the best number and proportion.

In addition, the “Specifications” has for the first time standardized the "soft quality" of services for the jewellery industry. For example, sales personnel should be pleasing in appearance and natural, accepting customers' voices as sweet, loud, standard, and avoiding foul language. They must not wear headphones to listen to music or rely on them. Or on the counter, do not do private life, snacks, play mobile phones, understand the basic knowledge of fire prevention, fire emergency plan and so on.
