The combination of different components allows for a range of styles—some exuding the mass appeal of "Gone with the Wind," while others emphasize a more refined, vertical look. Other popular types like "cashmere," "snow crepe," and other cool-weather fabrics for women are currently drawing widespread attention.
New categories such as "gelled yarn" and "Hongzhi yarn" are also gaining traction. These fabrics blend chemical fibers with natural ones in unique ratios, such as 15DFDY, 60S-120S viscose or cotton yarn, protein fiber, Tencel, and specialty yarns. They not only offer enhanced functionality but also bring a soft, semi-transparent, misty aesthetic that's attracting a new wave of consumers.
In the first half of the year, women's silk fabric products in the Textile City have started to be more specialized. Alongside the growing popularity of non-wired silk varieties, thread-type imitation yarns are taking on a more prominent role and selling increasingly well. Imitation silk and gauze fabrics are being sold in small batches repeatedly, while many major professional markets are now focusing on larger volumes and more substantial transactions. This shift reflects a dynamic and evolving industry that continues to adapt to changing consumer preferences.
