Liyingfang plans to open 250 stores in mainland China with revenue of 850 million yuan next year

Lai Yingfang is set to unveil its cross-strait exhibition store plan next year, but the approach in Taiwan remains cautious and conservative. Store optimization and cost control are currently the top priorities. On the mainland, the company is expected to operate between 220 and 250 stores this year. Analysts predict that mainland revenue will grow by approximately 20% this year, reaching 700 million yuan, with an estimated 20–25% growth next year, bringing total revenue to around 850 million yuan. This year, Lai Yingfang has focused more on improving store efficiency rather than expanding the number of outlets. As of the end of October, there were 1,381 outlets on the mainland, with a net increase of 185 this year. The total number is expected to reach about 1,400 by year-end, with no more than 200 new additions. In Taiwan, the number of retail locations has remained stable at 279, slightly up from 274 last year, indicating a slower expansion pace. Despite the cautious approach, Lai Yingfang’s first three quarters of mainland revenue reached 590 million yuan, showing a strong 20% year-over-year growth. In Taiwan, October revenue hit 241 million yuan, marking a 17.34% annual increase and setting a historical high. The fourth quarter is expected to bring even stronger performance due to major holidays like the Spring Festival, as well as special events in department stores, which could drive sales in November. Looking ahead, Lai Yingfang plans to expand its exhibition store presence on the mainland next year, though the focus remains on profitability rather than sheer numbers. The company is also working on a collaboration with Denmark's renowned children's clothing brand CLAIRE. This partnership is expected to yield results in the spring and summer of next year, with trial sales in Beijing and Shanghai to gauge market response. If successful, a full rollout will follow, but the strategy remains carefully planned. Market analysts anticipate that Lai Yingfang’s mainland revenue will reach 700 million yuan this year, growing by 15–20%. Meanwhile, the Taiwan segment may see a turnaround from losses to profits, contributing to an overall group profit growth of 15–20%, driven by both regions and reinvestment. Next year, with more exhibition stores on the mainland, revenue is expected to rise by another 20–25%.
