The China International Gold Conference, which is being held in Beijing, today released the “China Gold Industry Social Responsibility Report (2014 Edition)â€, proposing to maintain national economic security and financial security as the primary social responsibility of the gold industry.
The "Report" compiled by the China Gold Association records the status and practice of the gold industry in fulfilling its social responsibilities, involving all aspects of the company's integrity management, business performance, safe production, scientific and technological progress, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of employees.
Since the beginning of the new century, China's gold output has grown for 14 consecutive years. In the past seven years, the continuous output has ranked first in the world. Last year, the output was 428.16 tons, accounting for 15.9% of the world's gold production. China Gold and Shandong Gold entered the top 15 in the world. In the sales field, Zhongjin Gold, Shanghai Laofengxiang and Shanghai Yuyuan Gold ranked among the top three in China.
