Who brought Chinese brands to New York Fashion Week?

In February of this year, the American Fashion Designers Association CFDA, together with Alibaba's Tmall, fashion brand management and consultancy Suntchi (Suntchi), jointly launched the "New York Fashion Week Tmall China Day", first established in New York Men's Week Official schedule. This is the first time that Chinese brands have collectively appeared in New York Fashion Week in the name of “National Day”. This season, "Tmall China Day" selected three Chinese fashion brands such as JNBY, Particle Fever and Angel Chen to land in New York Fashion Week again.

In addition to Alibaba, Tencent also participated in this season's New York Fashion Week.

HOT NOW, co-sponsored by Tencent News and China Fashion Designers Association, entered the official schedule of New York Fashion Week this season, and held a press conference on August 12th at Shenzhen Tencent Binhai Building. Although HOT NOW has not disclosed the list of Chinese designers who participated specifically, according to the organizing committee secretary-general Dong Wei, in the press conference, in addition to fashion shows, in the future, HOT NOW will also hold Showroom and fashion cross-border creative exhibitions. A series of activities such as the Summit Forum will empower the globalization of China's fashion industry.

In addition, Icy, a Chinese designer platform that strives to deploy intelligent and sales system KOL, will join hands with Chinese designers Xu Yiwei, Hua Jia, Meng Hui and Wang Changrong to present this season's New York Fashion Week.

Chinese designer Zhang Han was selected by the platform Global Fashion Collective (GFC) to work with designers from other countries during New York Fashion Week.

In addition to the above platforms, the platform CAAFD, the Parsons master's graduation show, and the Rhode Island School of Design's fashion show (RISD) are also likely to have Chinese fashion brands.
